When purchasing freshwater fish from our stores …

Our staff are here to help you! Please check that your fish selection is suitable for your aquarium, and that you can provide the correct conditions required. We will ensure that the fish chosen are in optimum health and free from disease when  they leave the store.

If you should encounter any problems within the first 48 hours of purchase, please contact your local store immediately. We will require you to return the fish and a sample of aquarium water in a separate container for testing.

Please be aware, that under no circumstances will we accept any animals back into our systems, due to our strict quarantine procedure.

When purchasing marine fish and invertebrates from our stores …

Please note, that we do not offer any guarantee on marine livestock, including fish, corals and invertebrates, once they have left the store. This is due to the sensitive and unpredictable nature of marine animals.

We will however, offer you all the advice you need to make sure the animals you are purchasing are suitable fro your aquarium. We also offer a water testing service fro £1 per test, where we can check waste levels in your aquarium, to make sure it is safe to add new animals.

When purchasing reptiles from our stores ….

Please ensure you are fully aware of the commitment of owning an animal and if you have any questions, our staff are here to help!

We will only sell animals, which are healthy, well rested and feeding. Please note, we do not offer any guarantee on live reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates, once they have left the store. This is because we have no control on the environment in which the animals is being placed, once it leaves us.

Please be aware that under no circumstances will we accept any animals back, this is due to our strict quarantine procedure. Any deposits on reserved animals are non-refundable. We provide free care leaflets with animals when purchased, please ensure you are committed and understand your animals requirements before purchasing!
