| Aquajardin Gloucester hosted an exclusive evening with a talk by aquatic author Dick Mills. On the 1st April 2008, members of Gloucester Aquarist Society and invited guests from Aquajardin's Aquatic Club joined staff for an in focus talk about marine fish.
Mills, who is well renowned within the industry for his publications covering all aspects of aquatics, gave a presentation with slides revealing the marine aquarium trade, from capture to care.
This was the second event hosted by Aquajardin Gloucester that Mills attended to give a talk.
The evening was well received and it was a perfect opportunity for The Gloucester Aquarist Society to talk to Aquajardin Aquatic Club members about what they do.
After the presentation, Mills was on hand to offer advice and answer questions. The Marine Staff at Gloucester also had a busy evening, as they had just replenished stocks in the marine show system of healthy, quarantined fish for sale, with lots of rare and unusual species for the special evening.
After what had been presented by Mills, club members could appreciate the benefits of healthy, drug-free livestock selected from MAC accredited wholesalers such as TMC.
There was also a competition to win a years subscription to Marine World Magazine, as well as copies of the latest publication available.
Peter Wheeler, director of Aquajardin Ltd said " This evening was a fantastic opportunity for our valued Club members and the members of the Gloucester Aquarist Society to come together and to learn about the important work that goes on within our trade, and as always it was a pleasure to have Dick Mills here to share his knowledge and experience"
