Gloucester Store
This beautiful planted display is created within this 150 lr Evasion aquarium using Co2 and Eco Complete planting substrate. Decor consists of natural roots with black slate. Planting consists of 'Pogesternum' and 'Microsorum'. Fish include several danio species as well as a small army of Japonica shrimp. |

This Juwel conversion reef aquarium holds 260 ltrs. Running on a natural filter method, using live rock and protein skimming, additional filtration is supplied using an external canister filter. Additional flow is supplied by 2 Koralia powerheads and the in-built Juwel filter. Substrate is Red Sea Reef Complete. Livestock includes soft corals, hard corals, zooanthus and sponges. A large rose bubble anemone creates a centre piece with a large tooth coral. Fish include a moorish idol, blue eye mimic tang, red fire fish and a percula clown.

Gloucester Display

To create this aquarium Tiger Vallis has been used towards the rear of the layout to create height and low lying mosses towards the front creating an open space for fish. Wood and rock have been placed to create a strong visual structure to this layout. A large shoal of checker barbs and algae eating shrimp are inhabiting the aquarium. A new ochre coloured quartz with Tetra substrate additive has been used to enhance plant growth.

This display has been created with plants that require minimal maintenance. This impresive aquarium with it's extra depth shows off fish and plants very well. We have used a simple effective display using only Java Fern, Anubius and Crypto Parva a few rocks and branch wood.
To create impact we have a large shoal of Penquin Tetra's, and for algae eating and generally keeping the aquarium clean, a small army of shrimp (Caradina Japonica) are being used.

This 30litre BiOrb has been decorated using Reef One 'Autumn Plant Packs' with natural, rustic stone. The white centre piece is a Reef One 'Samuel Baker Collection' designer sculpture, available at all stores, to add a dramatic style to your BiOrb. A shoal of tiger barbs finish off the display, being similar tones. |

This beautiful, well established reef aquarium is built up with live rock, available, fully cured at our Gloucester and Southampton stores. The corals and invertebrates consist of both hard and soft coral species, as well as polyps and anemones. Fish include an orchid dottyback, mimic tang, a shoal of anthias and clarki clownfish. This aquarium comes complete with sump, filtration, skimmer and metal halide lighting. This close up shot depicts the beautiful Ducanospammia or 'Duncan's' coral in the Aquamedic Reef Display at our Gloucester store. This is just one of the many challenging species of coral that are thriving in this set up. Ducanospammia is usually available from our sales tanks at both Gloucester and Southampton Aquajardin. |

This highly styled 60Litre BiOrb contains 3X Reef One 'Samuel Baker Collection' designer Clam Shell sculptures as a centre piece. These are placed upon alfacoral rock, available in store, to create a marine look. Pink faux coral pieces and purple plants are used to dress to create colour and depth. It is important to use complimenting colours to create a thematic display. Long fin danios in a large shoal finish the effect. |
| Planted Aquience Cube Aquarium |

This Aquience aquarium, from Aqua One, is available in silver, chocolate and beech finish with alloy detailing. This planted aquarium contains large mother plants including Echinodorus Rose, Crinum Calimistratum, Cryptocoryne Balanasae Var, Crispulata, Anubias Barteri and Eleocharis Acicularis. Alfacoral is used as an inert decor, to add drama and depth against the dark Eco-Complete planting substrate. Fish include a large shoal of black phantom tetra, ember tetra, cardinal tetra, otocinclus and scalare angelfish. |
| Juwel Vision 180 Discus Aquarium |

This discus set-up has a striking, minimalist look. This is created by using a spindle wood to create a focal point, minimal rocks and a specimen java fern plant. The dark background and substrate allows the beautiful markings of the discus to stand out. Discus require specialist water conditions, and prefer to live in softer water. Gloucester Store Display
This impressive planted display is housed in a 450 litre, bow front aquarium. Available in black, beech and darkwood finishes, al Juwel aquariums are complete with filtration, T5 lighting and heating. The beautiful effects in this aquarium are created using Co2 fertilisation, specialist plant foods and substrates. All this products are available at all our stores. Fish stocks include cardinal tetras and altum angelfish. There is also a good stock of algae eating shrimp (Cardinia Japonica) which keep algae at bay. Decoration includes a few rocks and spindle wood, which adds stature amongst the lush green planting.

| Tetra Aqua Art Volcano Display |

This fun and imaginative aquarium is created using a Classic Erupting Volcano ornament as a centre piece. Coloured gravels are used to evoke a sense of larva flowing from the decoration. Plastic plants in oranges and reds compliment the volcano and contrast sharply with the black background and the black and white mollies. It is important to keep such a display like this looking clean and bright, this Tetra Aquarium has great filtration, with regular water changes and additions of Tetra Safe Start, it is simple to keep it in good condition. |
| Juwel Rio 125 SPS Coral Display |

This wonderful SPS reef is created using a Juwel aquarium with upgraded lighting, protein skimmer and plenty of live rock for added filtration. Most of the coral species are SPS, or 'Small Polyp Stoney' corals. These are among the most challenging corals to keep, however with the correct lighting, water quality and feeding, it is easy to achieve good results. There are also several 'Large Polyp Stoney' corals to add movement. Fish include sunburst anthias, a watchman goby, paired with a pistol shrimp with interesting invertebrates such as harlequin shrimps, which feed exclusively on starfish! |

In this display we are using aquaone artificial plants against a dark blue backdrop and black quartz gravel. Stocked quite simply with fancy goldfish, the reds of these fish show up very well against the darker background and substrate.

These two nano 20 & 30 litre aquariums from Dennerle have been set up to show how much can be achieved in a small aquarium. Here at our Gloucester store we normally keep in stock several species of shrimp and small fish which are suited to this style of aquarium. These two nano's are currently stocked with the stunning Crystal Red Shrimp and also Bumble Bee Shrimps, fish being displayed are Endlers Guppies and Normans Lamp Eyes.

This is our 30l Biorb display using mainly Reef One Decor. We have used one of the newest piano black swap tops which give the orb a very elegant appearance. Three fancy goldfish a proud to call this their home.
