Welcome to the Aquajardin web site. We are a group of three specialist water garden and aquarium centres. Our business began in 1993 when owner Peter Wheeler was offered the opportunity to set up a store in Gloucestershire on a Blooms Garden Centre site.

If you are wondering why we chose "Aquajardin" as our company name the answer is, it evolved from a french friend of Peter's who helped develop the Gloucester store from construction to the grand opening in April 1993. Aquajardin is the French for "water garden" - perfect!

After the success of Aquajardin, Gloucester we took the opportunity to open another store on an independent garden centre site near Newent also in Gloucestershire. Hazelfield's Garden Centre offered us the chance to design and build our new store from scratch!

Our latest new store, is also on an independent site near Eastleigh, Hampshire, at Arturi's Garden Centre - again with over 70 tropical fish tanks and 3000 sq foot of covered indoor shopping area.
